Like many reviewers here, I too, have been shooting since I was very young. The older I got, the less impressed with new guns I became...Until I found the Smith and Wesson Sigma .40 (SW40VE). This gun got me excited again. The ergonomical design caught my eye right out of the box. Light weight and sexy as hell. Did the whole, "you talking to me" bit in the mirror for a few minutes, then decided to try it on for size.

I took it out to the gun range today and put away around 250 rounds. First thing I noticed was it's Outstanding Balance. Next, how well it kicked and came back for more. I've never usually unloaded within a few short seconds, but these first 14 flew by. Talk about smooth, I was like pringles, popped and couldn't stop.

Double Action, sick slide. Either I'm getting old or the gun has a kind of hard draw on it. Anyway, just good to be letting off some steam with my new best buddy. Best gun made yet! Can't wait until I can hit the range again! Thanks S&W.
