The biggest feature of this rifle that stuck out for me was its accuracy. For a production model rifle it is amazing how accurate it is. This rifle shoots like one 4 price points higher at least and is comparable to some of the precision custom competition rifles on the market today.

The 700 platform is tried and true, enduring many years of hunting, military and competition use and this rifle is a step up. Using a 26" heavy barrel in free-float setup on an HS Precision composite stock.

It has dual-sided palm swells and a generous butt-pad to absorb the recoil of the .300 WM monster it throws downrange.

In a word... accurate. This rifle is sub MOA out of the box. Mine has a Leupold VXII Tactical scope and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in terms of accuracy. It'll put a ragged hole dead center of the 10 ring at 100 yds all day long and not even break a sweat.

At longer distances (I've gone as far as 800+ yds) this rifle will consistently put a bullet where you put it. I'll guarantee this rifle is more accurate than 95% of rifle shooters in the world and you won't be disappointed with it.

It's heavy, which helps for accuracy so it's not advised for hunting, but it can certainly do the job. Bi-poded, bench, or prone is a treat. Standing or kneeling can cause fatigue for the shooter quickly given the weight of the rifle, but that's the trade-off for the accuracy.

The HS Precision stock is better suited for the larger-handed people, as the palm swells make the grip rather large in the hand, but it certainly can be fired by people with smaller hands.

The HS Precision stock does a great job of absorbing most of the recoil of the .300 Win. Mag. load but it does fatigue the shooter after time.

26" Heavy barrel makes it accurate and helps reduce recoil as well.
