Friends who know me well know that I am extremely fond of high-grade rifles and shotguns with nicely figured, handcheckered English walnut stocks; blued-steel actions and barrels; and perhaps a bit of engraving here and there. For this reason I am sure once those same friends examine the new Remington Model 710 they will be shocked to learn that I consider it to be one of the most important centerfire rifle developments to come along in years. not too many features with this hunting rifle. It is basic, and it does a good job. I would say that the price is a great feature of this gun.
