The benelli R1\'s look and feel made want to have this one. I own several rifles and this one is above the rest. My son and I went to the range last weekend to zero in two rifles, the R1 and a 30.06 bolt action. The 30.06 was unforgiving, after sending two boxes down range, on the shoulder. The R1, on the other hand, felt great with Benelli\'s ComfortTech system. I can shoot this rifle all day and have no aching shoulder when the day ends. My son\'s shoulder was bruised by the 30.06, which is made by another gun maker.

The recoil of the Benelli R1 is the best in its class. No shoulder pain to worry about. Maintenance was quick and easy. Benelli has made their firearms, in my opinion, very, very user friendly, especially when it comes to maintenance. Keep up the awesome job Benelli!
