The good qualities: There are too many good qualities about the Glock 22 to list them all. If I had to narrow it down, it's the most simple and easy gun to shoot and it doesn't weigh a ton. In a NutShell: Get a Glock...I've carried it as a duty weapon. No bells and whistles, just a simple factory Glock with Trijicon sights. When asked, I recommend the Glock to new and seasoned shooters. The pistol is lightweight, accurate right out of the box, and is a better overall pistol than anything else most people starting out can afford to buy and shoot.

Cleaning, breakdown are easy. The only issue I had was a slight misfeed problem. I had fired a lot of rounds through it without issue, then noticed a round that didn't want to seat properly. After I cleaned it, the issue was gone. I have to say the double tap and rapid fire return to target are very easy to learn to do. |

The grip was natural and comfortable to me from the moment I held it. The high cap mags can make a difference - the one negative is the difficulty in loading the last few rounds for many people. I have stong thumbs, my wife does not. The loading tool is okay, but I don't use it. It did help her. |
