Every bit the match of my Kimber 45 - and the night sights are brighter. Trigger is slightly more than the Kimber or the Baby Eagle- BE probably the best trigger of all 3 - but its pull distance before action (creep) is greater than the Warthog or the Kimber.
Warthog is a wonderful gun and easily controlled - even for the occasional shooter. It is a challenge, however, for those who do not have a strong "hands on" - in order to open the breech and put the gun on a locked open position. |

On my first firing of the Warthog, I shot the first 5 in the target head at 15 yards - the sights are clear and the trigger is crisp and little travel. At fairly quick fire the over all group was ~ 6" - but if you discount the one outlier, the group was ~ 3 1/4". Very satisfactory for a first five.
Free of any hangs or other problems - very easy field strip.

The main spring is too stiff for convenience. None of my other '45's' are this stiff. I would like to get a slightly less strong spring - otherwise the gun for my purposes has only two peers - Kimber and Baby Desert Eagle. |
