The P22 is a good plinker. I think Walther and Smith and Wesson messed up a little bit during the first year of production with quality issues, and that reputation has followed the pistol around. I, however, have had no problems. Wouldn't recommend buying this pistol used. |

Shoots tight groups, once you get used to the target placement. I've heard stories that this pistol is very ammunition sensitive, and have to agree. Shoot 40 grain high velocity ONLY. Winchester X is probably the best.
Cleaning and disassembly is kind of a pain, I actually had to to to Youtube to find a video, showing me how to reassemble this pistol! Walther should really expand on their instuction manual. |
