I've worked in a gun shop the last three years and have yet to handle a firearm that feels as good in the hand as my CZ 75 PCR. My only complaints have to do with the trigger... kind of a reach for people with tiny hands, and streight out of the box, it's slightly gritty. I've heard you can get great trigger jobs done, but after an initial break in time, mine has smoothed right out. The decocker is not a reach at all, but the mag release and slide lock may take a little shifting of the hand to reach... aparently CZ doesnt want anyone to accidentally hit these while firing. The slide riding inside the frame is certainly different than most others out there but is not hard to get used to. Typically, I want to give this handgun a 10 out of 10 because I've yet to handle one I like as much, but I realise that there are some things that can be improved such as the trigger, and I'd like to see one come from the factory with tritium night sights.

I've dropped bowling pins at distances from 25 to 75 yards countless times with mine. Grant it, 75 yrd shots take a little dialing in, but once I do, I can drop a string of em. I've also used this to introduce buddies to handguns, and all have enjoyed the fact that it has very managable recoil, and is out right easy to use. It is fairly light weight with it's alloy frame, yet is balanced enough to allow even beginners to string together rapid successions of hits on target.
Breakdown is not bad at all, although not as easy as some. There is a set of notches on the frame and slide to line up, or just set the hammer at half cock and pull the slide back to that point. The manual I got said to just push the slide lock out at this point from the right, but found it's easier to use the back of the magazine push with. Once this is done, everything is standard.

The alloy frame of the PCR gives a good balance of weight and rigidity. Both diehard fans of polymer frames, and those that prefer steel have liked the feel of it. The loaded chamber indicator, unique in the 75 line to the PCR, is another feature liked by many in that it is both easy to feel and see, yet doesnt protrude enough to become a distraction. The rubber, instead of hard plastic, grips help with control and feels great as well. Most CZ handguns, and all of the "classic" 75s, have a manual safety, where the PCR was one of the first to use a decocker instead. Again, the slide riding inside the frame instead of outside is a feature that is not readily used by many semi-auto manufacturers. It deffinately shortens the height of the slide and cuts down on the amount that you can get your hand around to work it, but the aggressive slide serrations makes up for it and is easy to get the hang of. Apparently CZ did this to add rigidity and strength, both of which help accuracy.
