I was issued this fine weapon as a State Parole OFFICER IN ct. in 1997. I was one of four Parole Officers and supervisors that selected a duty firearm for concealment,firepower,defense, while working in a dangerous job.We reviewed sig, s&w, Taurus,glock,Berretta. We spent three days at the range, carried all our waking hours, and sat down with everyone's opinions. There was an uninamious opinion that the Glock was the most comfortable to carry, accurate out of the box and the pistol that was the easiest to train with.

I was hiiting a steel target at the range of 100 yards consistantally with just a little elelvation.
For the money,[concern of all public agencies] the Glock turned out to be the biggest bang for the buck. Number two was a Sig 40 cal.The Ct State Police went with the Sig..40 $150 more per pistol. We felt it was not worth the extra money.
