While some may ostracize the stopping power of the .380, advances in powder technology and bullet designs have brought this caliber into the league of worthwhile consideration for defense. Besides, with !2+ rounds popping, I doubt anyone would stick around to test the effectiveness of the round. Though not the smallest kid on the block, the BDA is still a good concealed carry option. It is without doubt a nice looking and very sweet shooting pistol. |

The gun points and balances well and recoil is mild. With a two handed grip, I can get rapid fire patterns of 3-4 inches from 7-10 yards, which is plenty good for defensive shooting; sandbag rested brings it down to a 1-2 inch grouping. Ammo is fairly inexpensive, which is great as it's a hoot to blow up lots of it dancing a soda can across the back 40. |

Rear drift sights are acceptable. Fit and finish are well done. The decocker/safety feature is nice to have, but requires training with for those not used to this feature. |
